George N. Parks Golf Tournament

THE 2nd ANNUAL TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. STAY TUNED FOR NEW DATE.

Dust off those golf clubs! The Minuteman Band Alumni Association invites you to the inaugural George N. Parks Golf Tournament August 3rd! Proceeds to benefit the George N. Parks Memorial Scholarship Award.

The event will consist of 4-player teams, and scramble-style play followed by a dinner banquet. Come join us for a great day of golf in remembrance of our friend, George Parks.

Contests will include a $10,000 Hole-in-One Competition and a ‘Closest to the Mace’ Hole.

The golf tournament is open to all. Individual golfers are welcome and will be grouped into a foursome. Non-golfers are welcome at the Dinner Banquet.

Early registration is encouraged as spots are limited and will sell out!

HOTEL INFO

We reserved two room blocks at Courtyard by Marriott and the Howard Johnson’s on Route 9 in Hadley. Reservations in the block must be made by June 22. After that date rooms  by availability only, The rate at Courtyard by Marriott is $166.00 (15 rooms) and at Howard Johnson’s the rate is $97.00 (20 rooms) There may be an additional discount for members of the UMass Amherst Alumni Association.  Both hotel blocks are reserved under the “George Parks Golf Tournament”
