One hundred fifty never looked so good! Join the UMMB for the kickoff event to our 150th-anniversary celebration. Not only is it our 150th anniversary, but our return to eastern Massachusetts—on the Mount Ida Campus of UMass Amherst! Sip on your beverage of choice and gather with friends old and new as you jam out to UMMB hits from the past. Our own TTA will give his preview of the 2023 season and you’ll hear from other various UMMB names, past and present. Plus, we’ll present a 150th-anniversary video tribute from our A/V & History staff and unveil the “Top 10 Moments in UMMB History” as voted on by YOU.

The event committee would like to make clear that this event is not a fundraiser – ticket prices reflect the actual cost of the event and you will not see any silent auctions, paddle raises, etc. For those who are able and would like to support the band, we ask that you direct your support the UMMB’s $150K for 150 Years fundraising campaign. As part of our 150th anniversary, the UMMB is launching $150K for 150 Years as the start of an endowment to ensure the next 150 years of our organization. We will highlight more information about this campaign in the lead up to and at the event.

Got Photos?
We’re actively seeking submissions for photos from our storied past, which will be used in a slideshow at the event and throughout our 150th anniversary festivities this year. If you have photos of your time with the UMMB that you’d like to share, please upload them to our 150th Anniversary Photo Dropbox!

Donate:
Not able to attend the event but would still like to contribute? Donate to the UMMB’s $150K for 150 Years campaign to create an endowment for the band and help ensure the next 150 years are full of Power and Class!
