The Big Band Bash is heading to Boston!
Join us for this annual event that brings together generations of band alumni and friends for a night of food, philanthropy, and celebration.
We’re celebrating Thom Hannum’s 40th season with the Minuteman band!
Join 40 years of ΦΒΔ (and all UMMB alumni and friends!) to honor Thom’s legacy!
Keynote speaker Bob Morrison ’83, will talk about music education and the pageantry of the marching arts.
Morrison is known for his many accomplishments. He co-authored multiple books with Thom Hannum and formerly served as the CEO of VH1’s Save the Music Foundation. He also helped create multiple music education programs including, Music for All and The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation. Among his many accolades, Morrison has also been recognized with Emmy and Peabody Awards for his work.
Before the night is over, participate in silent and live auctions to support the Band Alumni Scholarship, awarded to current band students who demonstrate the excellence, energy, and enthusiasm that defines the Minuteman Band. The event and auctions will be emceed by band alumnus, Matt Dunphy ’03.

- New York strip steak (GF) with green beans, russet potatoes, and a red wine demi glace

$35 – Young alumni (2014-2018)
$25 – Current student
Includes salad, plated dinner, and dessert. A cash bar will be available.
Proceeds go to the Band Alumni Scholarship Fund.
