Each band member makes the Power & Class what it is, year after year. Chris Halloran ’01 certainly exemplifies the 2018 Rose Parade theme “Making a Difference.”

A portion of this year’s televised Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day will be influenced by University of Massachusetts music directors.
Tiffany Brucker was selected among hundreds of applicants across the nation to march for a national Honor Band in the Rose Parade on New Years Day.
Under the direction of UMass Amherst’s own George N. Parks, a Rose Parade band shows how good it is.
Libby Jones will join 400 musicians from across the country in the Bands of America honors band. She is one six MA band members selected for the honor.
