Flagship Entertainment is a New England-based entertainment company specializing in percussion performance and home to the Flagship Drumline. Founded in 2024 by UMass Drumline alum Dakota Koester, the company delivers high-energy drumline entertainment for sports, corporate, private, and live event audiences across the region.
The Flagship Drumline has already performed on major stages, including the 2024 NBA Finals, Celtics playoff events, and multiple appearances at Gillette Stadium for New England Patriots events.
Powered by both performers and educators, the ensemble brings the precision of the marching arts into crowd-focused entertainment. Flagship’s members have performed with and taught at leading ensembles including Boston Crusaders, The Cadets, Carolina Crown, Crossmen, Hawthorne Caballeros, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard, Spartans, United Percussion, 7th Regiment, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Flagship has also been identified in FloMarching’s 2025 list of active NFL drumlines as the drumline associated with the New England Patriots, further underscoring its growing presence in professional sports entertainment.
The company’s partners include Vic Firth and Zildjian, two of the most recognized names in percussion. Together, those relationships and performance credits point to a young company building momentum quickly in the marching arts, sports entertainment, and live event space.
