DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN EVERYTHING?
While we’d love it if you did, we crafted the weekend’s activities to be FLEXIBLE and ACCESSIBLE and pretty much FREE to allow the most alumni to participate!
IF I’M MARCHING IN ALUMNI BAND, DO I NEED TO BUY A GAME TICKET?
We will comp you with one free ticket. If you bring friends/spouses/kids, however, they WILL need to buy a game ticket.
WHAT IS THE UNIFORM?
Any maroon top and blue jeans.
HOW DO I BORROW AN INSTRUMENT?
Percussion, tubas, euphs, mellos, and guard are pretty well covered. Other instruments are extremely limited so please register ASAP and indicate what you need.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT TAILGATE?
Yes. But campus police will be on alert and may check IDs. Best bet is cans and red solo cups.
WHERE DO ALUMNI SIT DURING GAME?
Best bet is in sections 16 and 17. The band sits in 18.
I’M NOT A BAND ALUM. CAN I PARTICIPATE?
Absolutely! You are most welcome to join us in the Homecoming Parade or to play stands tunes with the band. You are also welcome to attend any of our other events. We do ask, however, that only band alumni participate in halftime and postgame activities on the field.
