The Minuteman Band family honors those whose talent, leadership, service, and generosity have shaped its legacy. These distinctions recognize individuals whose contributions continue to inspire generations of bandos.
Hall of Fame
In 1993, the UMass Band Alumni Network established the Hall of Fame to recognize individuals whose extraordinary contributions have shaped the growth and development of the UMass Minuteman Marching Band.
Honoraries
Honorary membership has been bestowed only rarely in the band’s history. Reserved for individuals whose extraordinary service and lasting impact transcend traditional roles, it remains among the band’s highest distinctions.

Scholarships
We’re proud to build scholarship endowments for members of the Minuteman Marching Band. To date, we’ve created eight annual awards typically ranging in value from $1,000 to $1,500.
